I'm an Earworm!

Matthew Price in Albuquerque linked to my “Earworms of the Year” post, and then posted his own list of earworms - which included my song “Who Will Save Us from the Saved?”!

You can hear the song in its entirety on the tunes page.

Excellent lyrics David! Guess now I will have to find out “just how did that melody go?” to complete the deal.

Another excellent tune in the same vein is by Iris DeMent entitled, “Let the Mystery Be”. It is off her wonderful album, “Infamous Angel”.

A word sampling:

Some say they’re goin’ to a place called Glory and I ain’t sayin’ it ain’t a fact. But i’ve heard i’m on the road to purgatory and I don’t like the sound of that. I believe in love and live my life accordingly - but I choose to let the mystery be.

I meant to post a link to the track, Rod. It’s here:

And you can buy the CD “Solo Electric” at http://www.cdbaby.com/all/dgans

And as for that Iris DeMent song, I love it! My friend and sometime singing partner Eric Rawlins does that one.
