DG appears on Grateful Fest compilation

Bob Matthews’ ArSeaEm Recording has released a 4-CD set recorded Augut 19, 2005 the first day of Grateful Fest 6 at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park in northeastern Ohio. gratefulfest6.jpg I’m featured on Disc 1, sitting in w/ Cornmeal on “Catfish John” and “Goin’ Down the Road Feelin’ Bad” and playing “Dawn’s Early Light-> For Everyman” and “That’s Real Love” solo. The other three discs are Dark Star Orchestra re-creating 8/6/74 with special guest Donna Jean Godchaux MacKay.

Mixed by Bob and Betty, a production team that looms large in Grateful Dead legend.

This year’s event, Grateful Fest 7, takes place June 30-July 4, with DSO, Cornmeal, my badself, Hot Tuna, NRPS, Keller Williams, Rusted Root, and lots more.
